Valentine’s Heart Box featuring Cinch and Go IV Flowers

Hello!  Today’s project is a handmade heart box decorated with handmade flowers from Spellbinders S4-982 Cinch and Go IV flowers by Becca Feeken.  My inspiration for making these roses for the project came from Anita Kejriwal, another Amazing Paper Grace Design Team member who is truly talented at making handmade flowers.  You can find her roses using this same die on the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Encouragement Community Facebook page under Unit 1 “Triangle Candy Treat Box with Cinch and Go IV Flowers.”  Here is the link to use: https://www.facebook.com/groups/APGCreativeEncouragement.    If you’re not already a member of this page, be sure to answer the membership questions once you request access to the Facebook page.

I googled the internet and found a template for a heart, and then printed this off and constructed a box around the template.  I made the box 2″ depth and covered it with Prima – Dulce papers and then decorated the top of the box with these lovely handmade roses, sprinkled with some glitter for sparkle.  I love, love, love this flower die!  There are different size dies in the set, so you can make large, medium, and small roses with this – it’s awesome!!!  Let me know if you have any questions about making roses from this die.  I’m addicted to it now!

Best wishes for you to have a great week ahead!

Sooooooo gorgeous work here as usual Tara, I just LOVE your gorgeous heart here, and it would also be perfect for a small gift to someone, who needs to be a bit cheered up in thesse hard times here. Really beautiful work as always and sooo adorable decorated with the fabulous flowers too.

Hi Maryann! Thank you! Yes I am giving this to my oldest daughter (with a gift enclosed) whose birthday is Feb. 8. Her birthday is so close to Valentine’s Day that I thought a heart box would be appropriate! 🙂 It’s always great to heart from you – thank you for being faithful to visit my blog and make such wonderful comments – you are very much appreciated! Tara
