Remember the days in grade school when you dreamed of all the little envelopes you would collect in your pouch from Valentine’s Day? Well, we gotcha covered! Today I am introducing the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for January 2021, the Mini 3D Vignette Valentines Mailbox.
Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace sent me these wonderful dies to create with.
Sweet hearts and petite envelopes are a symbol of love. The Amazing Paper Grace Mini 3D Vignette Valentines Mailbox harkens back to the days where you thought that the number of envelopes measured how loved you were. No worries, this elegant mailbox holds a bouquet of enveloped surprises and is a clever way to hide some cute little messages. Oh, and the front of the mailbox opens! Becca uses the inspiration from a vintage mailbox as the basis for this elegant representation where romantic and cute go hand in hand.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a sweetheart this year. After the holiday, this set can be used as a blue mailbox. Did you notice it is a mini-sized 3D Vignette?! Built just like the grand sized vignettes that came before it, this little mini stands 4.75-inches tall and folds flat for mailing to your sweetheart!

My Project Today using Mini 3D Vignette Valentines Mailbox
I used this special die set to create a fantastic mini album! I made walls by cutting six of the slotted vignette holders. I attached three of the vignette holders for each side and then covered the walls with decorative papers. I measured and cut out a floor piece and then attached it to the bottom. I then cut 9 of the decorative die cuts with the filagree frames and placed photos and images in each frame. What a wonderful mini photo album this makes! Wow this die set is so versatile!!
Designer Tip: The little heart dies included in the die set make great pull tabs for each of the photo frame cards for this mini album!
The photos below show some of the individual cards that have been pulled out of the album. Note the beautiful filigree die cut on the front of the frame! This folds down to reveal the photo and gives a wonderful touch to the pull-out cards.

Oh my goodness Tara, this is soooooo soooo beautiful and certainly as romantic as can be. I just absolutely LOVE it. Boy I wish, it was possible to get these sets of the months over here, so they were to pay for, but unfortunately no shops here are selling these, and to have them sent from the US is crazy expensive with the extra taxes and custom and postage on top of the price of the dies, so that´s not an option unfortunately, but I really love to see, how you transfer them into artwork every single month. Sooo much talent for just one person is not fair ha ha ha.
