Create some BOOtiful creations with a new collection from Amazing Paper Grace – The Halloween Collection.  It’s super SPOOKY cute!.

Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace supplied the dies for my use today.
The Halloween Collection Details

This Halloween Collection includes three thin metal die sets They can be used separately or mix and match with each set in the collection. It goes especially well with the popular Charming Cottage Box Die Set as you will see while hopping through.

The Halloween Collection sets used!

My Project for Today:  Today, I’m using a die designed by Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace for my first project called S4-1071 Spooky Cottage available at Spellbinders.
For my project, I emphasized the “Spooky Cottage” collection by make a haunted housing using the S6-153 Charming Cottage Box die and then adding the S4-1071 Spooky Cottage elements to make this look like a “haunted” house.   I placed five of the Charming Cottage Boxes together to form the house.  I used the fence to line the roof tops and to enclose the front of the house. The arched window was used multiple times on the house and I placed tracing paper behind each of the windows and the front door for a soft lighted effect.  The 3D tree made from the die definitely looks gnarly and spooky!  The little mummy and bat add to the haunted effect!

S3-405 Spooky Boo

Designer Tip #1:  To make a 3D tree out of the tree die, cut 4 trees and score them in half and then fold them and glue one-half of each trunk together, spreading the other half of the trunk outward to form a stand as you work around in a circle.  Spread the branches away from each other.

The Halloween Collection set used!

My Second Project for Today:   I used a die designed by Becca Feeken called S4-1069 Nested Clipped Squares. available at Spellbinders.
I used these unique nested dies to create a diamond-shaped mini album.  There is a pocket in one of the “clipped” corners of the die cut mini album pages where I inserted a sweet tag from the S6-153 Charming Cottage Box die collection.  I made a box for the mini album using Becca Feeken’s  S2-302 Adjustable Shadowbox Frame with 1/2″ Border Die.  The box top and spine are decorated with small Nested Clipped Squares to match and pull together with the Mini album.

Designer Tip #2:  To make a small pocket in the “clipped” part of the square for the mini album, simply adhere the edges of two of die cuts together but leave one of the “clipped” sides open so that a small tag can be inserted.
