Hi! Double Tag cards are so fun and one of my favorite card styles. These pull-out tags can be used for bookmarks or recipe cards, and the decorating possibilities are endless. I’ve posted a birthday card along with two Christmas cards using this card style. These cards are also posted on Pion Deisgn’s Blog here.

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Take a 12″ x 12″ piece of sturdy card stock and cut it to 12″ x 11″. Score at 5″ and 10″ down the 11″ side. Score at 5 7/8″ and 6 1/8″ down the 12″ side.

2. Now cut out the small center piece as shown.

3. Fold the card in half and take a die and center it on the card with the 1″ section as shown and cut.

4. Fold the card as shown and line up and adhere the 1″ section to the bottom of the card.

5. Cut two tags measuring 4 3/4″ x 7″ to insert into the pockets.

Omg your creations are sooooo beautiful. You should do YouTube videos on how you create them. As I would love to see the process. Hugs all the way from Australia.

Tara, as usual you talent amazes me! I was actually about to ask you if ther was a tutorial for them or how you made them. I see someone else asked the same thing.

I wish so much I had half your talent and vision. I still say you should buy stock in whatever company you buy your pearls from! You must go through a TON of them. May I ask where you get them?

I really do appreciate all you share. It ALWAYS inspires me to not just try to make something similar but it also ALWAYS gets my creative juices going and makes me want to create anything! I always come to your site when I am in a slump or am blocked creatively. So girl, I thank you SO MUCH!

If you are like me, almost everything you make is given to those you love. You have some very very lucky family and friends!

Sincerely and in awe of your talent,
    Erin

Hi Erin, so good to hear from you! Thank you for your comments. I’m hoping that when I retire, I can do more fun stuff with my blog. In the mean time, I did add a basic tutorial to the post. I want to wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season! PS I buy all those pearls from Hobby Lobby when their Gemstones go on sale 50%! :).

Oh and I agree completely with the other poster regarding the YouTube videos. I would subscribe to your channel in a heartbeat! You could also do a ustream class like other crafters do such as Kathy Orta, Jim Hankins ( the gentleman crafter) and Laura Denison. I have no doubt you would have many that would love to join you and it would definitely increase your sales at your store!

Something to think about? I realize you work full time as a professional. But hey, you are creating anyway! Might as well have ppl join you and create along with you!
