You Are My Home

 

Hi!  Today’s card features the Amazing Paper Grace You Are My Home Glimmer Hot Foil Plate Die Set from the Sweet Cardlets II Collection.  I used this plate set with silver foil and then built the card around the home scene.  Although you can color in the decorative scenes from these glimmer sets, I always prefer to leave mine uncolored as I like the look better.  Here is what this awesome glimmer plate die set looks like:

 

 

My card also uses clay elements, metal elements, decorative chipboard, black and white paints, crackle and texture pastes, Prima papers, and Prima flowers for a very layered card.  It’s a little different from my normal style, but I am enjoying using a touch of mixed media for my cards
