3-Tiered Cake with Candlewick Rosebud Roses

Hello!  I used Spellbinders Shapeabilities Candlewick Rosebud Etched Dies from the Candlewick Sampler Collection by Becca Feeken to make the roses and rosebuds that cascade down the front of this little 3-tiered cake.  You can find a great YouTube tutorial for making these roses by Anita Kejriwal here:

Each of the three cake layers are small boxes that I handmade using circular templates traced from different sized round ribbon spools.  I covered the boxes with papers from Prima’s Apricot Honey collection and then hot-glued the matching roses down the front of the cake.  I used ephemera from the Apricot Honey collection, lace, pearls, and different sized art stones to decorate the cake.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
