Amazing Paper Grace November Die of the Month Blog Hop – Pop Up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh

If you haven’t already jumped into Christmas preparations, are you ready to sleigh it?  Today we are sharing the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for November 2020 – Pop Up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh.  This one is a little bit different because it folds down flat for mailing as do all the dies in the 3D Vignette lines.

Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace sent me these lovely dies to create with.

Poinsettia Sleigh Details

This die can be used as flat detail on a 2D surface but transforms into a 3D show piece so easily that we’re happy you will have both options.  Becca traditionally creates a high end die that doubles as a decoration piece in November of each year.  Let’s just call it icing on the cake for the holidays.  It’s really a satisfying venture to grab a cup of coffee and sit down to put it together as it is to set it out on the table.

Today we want to inspire you to think of different combinations using the Poinsettia Sleigh.  Here’s what we had in mind:

  1. Table Center Piece
  2. Table Setting Favor
  3. Filled with Candy and Goodies
  4. Part of a Wonderland Menagerie
  5. Flat 2D on the front of a cardIn the comments let us know how you think it should be used.

There are 21 dies included in the Pop Up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh

For my first project above, I made a tag using the 3d Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh.  I love how the 3D Sleigh gives dimension to the tag!
For my second project, I attached the 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh to the front of a card.

Designer Tip:  You can half the size of the interior vignette (have 2 instead of 4 holders) to apply the sleigh to a card, but still have a bit of a 3D feature as I did with my tag and card above!

Above is the 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh with all four vignette holders.  What an awesome die set this is!

As always you just hit the head of the nail on these projects hun. I love everything for different occasions and no matter which of them it looks outstanding, whether it´s the standing sleigh or it´s the cardfront. I was just wondering, what is the curved diamondshaped item, you´ve ued on the front of the tag? It looks like some wodden item of some kind, but never seen it before, but it looks awesome and I could imagine it could be colored in too maybe? I love all your ideas, sooo beautiful and elegant.
Have a great day outhere everyone and stay safe okay.

Hi Maryann! The element you are referring to I believe is Scrapiniec chipboard ID: 4792 “Nordic Sweater-Small Background” that you can find here: https://scrapiniec.pl/en_US/searchquery/4792/1/default/5?url=4792
Let me know if I got that wrong and there is something else you are wondering about. Thank you for your comment – have a great day!

You definitely got my attention when you used the color pink color for your flowers but your card and the tag are absolutely gorgeous. In spite of the gingham look and the color pink, you’ve created a card that still says Christmas. I love it and your second card also but my favorite it your first card and the tag.

They’re all so pretty but I really love the tag the most. Beautiful!
