Amazing Paper Grace October 2020 Die of the Month Blog Hop – Pop Up 3D Vignette Camera

Strike a pose!! In this world of smartphones and selfies, everyone is a photographer.  Because every day we are tied to cameras of some sort, it seems only fitting to acknowledge our love of the camera.  It is hard to resist!  Today we are sharing the Amazing Paper Grace October 2020 Die of the Month – 3D Pop Up Vignette Camera.

Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace sent me these lovely dies to create with.

Pop Up 3D Vignette Camera Details

Becca shared that this is one of her passion projects and we all see why – cameras are everywhere!  What better icon to symbolize a tie to our everyday joys and our memories, and preserving them.  It is an instrument that brings us such joy and through using brings us closer to people, events, and places.

Today we want to inspire you to think of different combinations using the 3D Pop Up Vignette Camera.

Let us help you with the inspiration!

  1. Pop Up Card
  2. Card Front
  3. Pop Up Mini Scrap Book
  4. Shaped Card
  5. Shaped Scrapbook
  6. Gift Card Holder
  7. Wedding Tablesetting FavorWhat are yours?  Be share to share in your comments!

There are 16 dies included in the 3D Pop Up Vignette Camera.

My Project Today using 3D Pop Up Vignette Camera.

For my first project using this terrific die set, I made a camera box.  The photos below show different angles of this awesome camera box and one photo shows the top of the camera box lifted off.  This camera box can be used to store photos, recipes, or notes.  It is just one way to show the versatility of this special die!

My second project shows the camera made into a box with side walls, BUT with the tab inserts.  I actually joined two of the tab holders together so that a total of 8 cards could be placed in the camera!  How neat is this die!  I love it!

For my third and final project with this fantastic die set, I made a home interior project using the camera die and the S4-981 1″ Shadowbox die set.  This is a framed camera box!  The box is only an inch deep, but this is just enough to give it the depth needed for this special project.  It showcases this awesome die set and looks great in my granddaughter’s pink bedroom!

Designer Tip:  Use the camera lens circular dies to create a dimensional focusing lens!  Simply decide how deep, or long you want the focusing lens to be and then cut a strip of paper to that same width, allowing for side tabs on each side.  Roll the strip of paper into a tube to match the size of the die cut circle, and adhere the tabs around the circle as I have done on all the above projects!

Tara, you should know by now that I adore anything you make. Im always commenting on how I would love to spend a day with you just creating!!! Im not sure if youare old enough or even remember the old commercial for Minolta….The catch phrase was “From the Mind of Minolta”. Well there should be another one… From the hands of Tara… I have yet to see something you have made that doesn’t just blow my mind.
