Valentine’s Day Folded Card

This folded card offers something different than the ordinary rectangular card.  Although I have seen internet tutorials for making this unique card manually, I used a cutting file with the Pazzles Inspiration to cut and score this.  The cutting file is called “Explosion Card.”  To make cards extra special, include a photo of one of the recipient’s children and  they will be sure to treasure your creation!  Just for Valentine’s Day, I made this pink card for baby Caroline.  The card is held in place by a belt tied with a side bow.  When the belt is removed, the card opens up to show the unique surprise interior.  I used a MS punch-around-the-page, the Spellbinders Rose Creations die, and a Marianne’s Design flourish.   Stamps are from Lili of the Valley and Stempelglede.

Hi Karla – just a note to let you know I haven’t forgotten about this. I just haven’t had a chance to put the tutorial together yet, but plan on getting to it as soon as I can!
