Pion Design Cherry Blossom Lane Flower Wagon

Hello!   My hope is that everyone is staying well during this challenging time of quarantine!  Since being home for the quarantine, I’ve made quite a few projects with Pion Design’s newest paper line “Cherry Blossom Lane,” and this flower wagon is one of them.  It was made using a Silhouette cutting file, design 180490.   My husband surprised me with a new pink Silhouette 4 cutting machine recently and I am loving it!  🙂  You can also see this project over at the
Pion Design’s April 30 blog post here.

This wagon was made about 2 inches smaller than the actual cutting file.  I also used several dies:

bows (Spellbinders for large bows and Stamps of Life for tiny bows),
branches (Sizzix),
swirls (Marianne Design),
heart (Tattered Lace),
butterfly (Gemini),
and trellis (Sizzix).

The front door and bow were made with cutting files.  The straws were handmade for the flower posts by just rolling sized strips of paper.

Yesterday’s post of the handbag was actually a test post, so I am posting more photos below of the handbag project.  This handbag and matching card can also be found on Pion Design’s blog here. (their April 28 blog post).  I used the Tonic Studios Peony Bloom Handbag Die Set and I have made multiple purses with this die.   I always place a matching handmade card in the purse, which is a great way to give a card!

This pandemic and quarantine should remind us all that the gift of life is precious – stay safe and healthy!

Simply stunningly gorgeous. I have an affinity for covered wagons, gypsy caravans and the like so this project really struck a chord with me. A work of art and it is apparent you spent a lot of love, time and wonderful attention to detail. Well done!
