Two Accordion Albums

Hello! Today I am posting two albums which are very unique and different in how they store and present photos. You can find these albums also posted on the July 1 Crafteezee-Shop Blogspot here. The first album was made using Pion Design’s newest collection Everlasting Memories. This collection has amazing color combinations of navy blue and pink! I had never used these colors together before, but now that I have, I am fascinated with and love this color combination!
The albums were made by constructing a 6″ x 6″ square accordion base with slits to hold the pull-out cards. There are six cards on each side for a total of 24 cards. Each of these pull-out cards can hold photos on the front and back.
The below picture of the album side shows the accordion holder and the individual cards on the sides within the slots. Although there are actually 11 to 12 slots on each side, I just put six cards on each side staggering them with one empty slot in between.
There are many darling pictures of kittens, puppies, and sweet birds in this collection.

Everlasting Memories consists of 14 papers in the size 12×12”, including two image sheets, as well as 4 single sided papers in 12×12” with 4 designs in 6×6”. Within the collection Pion Design Palette you will find heavier weight papers that will make a perfect match.
This second album was made the same way but uses papers from the gorgeous Prima Moon Child collection.
This last picture shows one of the pull-out cards removed from the album.
