Days Gone By and Our Furry Friends Organizer and Cards

Today I am posting some cards and an organizer using Pion Design’s Days Gone By and Our Furry Friends paper collections.  These posts can also be found on the Pion Design blog found here and here.  Although I have made these same card styles many times, I always go back to these styles, especially the easel, when I make a bunch of cards all at once.  This is because they are so easy to make and display easily as they stand up by themselves.  It’s great to be able to have stand-by cards ready for those last minute forgotten birthdays and unexpected sad times!

This is a Kaiser Craft chest that I put together and covered with the beautiful pink papers from the collection.   These organizers make wonderful gifts!

Best wishes for you to have a great week!

Oh my gosh Tarta, you just never stops do you? You´ve just made such a wonderful bunch of gorgeous cards here again, they´re absolut stunning work each and every one of them. Just soooo sooo beautiful and filled with lovely and decorative details all over. I simply adore thesesoooo much. And this totally jawdropping chestorganizer is absolut fabulous too, and my granddaughter, who´s sitting here just keep saying, that this would be soo perfect for her desk to keep all her small notes and pads and small stuff in the small drawers too. Do you have any measurement for it maybe, then I´ll try and make one with her, while she´s staying here with me this spring? She´s the one, who´s getting confirmated here next month, so I expect her to be able to make it herself, with just a little help now and then, if she just has a little to go after hight and width and lenght on the box and each drawers too if possible.
I hope you´re having a wonderful Easter with your lovely family and having loads of great fun. Take good care ands big hugs

Hi Maryann, It’s always so good to see one of your comments! The desk organizer is a Kaiser Craft product I picked up from a local craft store – it is wooden and comes unassembled. I’ve altered these before and once I cover the pieces with paper, I then use a wood glue to adhere them all together. I don’t have this organizer any more to be able to get the measurements for you, and I apologize for that! I’m hoping you may be able to find it though at a craft store in your area or online. Congratulations on your granddaughter’s upcoming Confirmation. It sounds like she may be following in your footsteps in being a paper crafter 🙂 I hope you have a fantastic week ahead of you and thanks again for all the encouragement you so kindly give to me and everyone else! You are definitely one of the nicest ladies I’ve ever met! Tara

Hi Jan, You are too kind! I am just fortunate to have collected many supplies over the years which help me make all these projects. If you are an avid paper crafter, you will eventually find yourself with lots of supplies too! 🙂 Have a great week! Tara
