Christmas Ornaments
Hello! Today I have 10 handmade paper ornaments to post. All are made with different paper collections from Pion Design, including their new Christmas collection Christmas Wishes. These ornaments can also be found on Pion Design’s Oct. 25 blog post here. I have included the links for the tutorials at the bottom of this post. There are many seasons of our life when we get so busy that it’s great to be able to draw on the talents of others for our inspiration. I am really looking forward to a more quiet season of my life where I can spend more time with family and the things I love most, including paper crafting!
Here is the link for the tutorial for the first seven ornaments
Here is the link for the tutorial for the pink and blue #8 ornament.
And here is the link for the tutorial for the above #9 green origami ornament.
Which one is your favorite? 🙂
As the cooler weather brings the changing seasons, I wish you all a wonderful holiday season!

Tara I have never seen someone that crafts like you do. Oh how I would love to spend some time just watching that brain of yours tell your hands what to do!!! You simply amaze me with each thing you make. These ornaments are stunning. I love the pinks, but for some reason the light green paper is just beautiful!!! Thank you Tara for another wonderful example of your amazing talent!!!

Heather
Is there a link for #10, the last one? It’s my fav! I have a vintage pic of my grandmother and her twin as Kids but my gran has passed Now. I think it would be the perfect gift for her twin, my great aunt.
Tara Brown
Hi Heather, There is not a link for the last ornament as I put that one together myself. The bottom layer was made from a Cheery Lynn doily die and the layer on top of the doily is some lace I glued around the doily. The next layer above the lace was made using a scalloped circle Spellbinders die and then the next two layers are rosettes I made from Pazzles cutting files. The top layer was made from a small scalloped circle Spellbinders die. You can make your own version of this ornament with different dies and rosette dies. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Tara

Tara what kind of paper do you use?
Tara Brown
Hello, I exclusively use Pion Design papers. They also have a line of smooth cardstock called Pion Design Palette which is sturdy and easy to work with and matches their printed papers! You can find a list of stores that sell these amazingly beautiful papers here: http://piondesign.se/store-finder/
