Photo Camera with Case

Hello! Today I am excited to show you a new design. I made this project to showcase Pion Design’s new paper collection Mister Tom’s Treasures, and this post can also be found on their June 1 blog here.
So it’s a vintage accordion-style camera that holds removeable photos or tags. The chipboard case has doors on the front, and when they are opened, the camera pops out. It can then be compressed back into the case and the doors closed. It’s a great, unique way to showcase some of your favorite photos. I don’t have a tutorial or templates or cutting file for it just yet and it will likely be a while before I post any new tutorials as I am practically crafting “out of a suitcase” as we are preparing for a move to a different part of the state the end of June. But it is a fun project and I’ll do my best to post a tutorial for it soon if anyone is interested.

Oh my goodness Tara, I´m really blown away with the beauty in your projects always, and this is soooo gorgeous and truly amazing work. I´m sure, we all would love a tutorial, but not until you´re ready for it, so don´t turn everything upside down to make one, as we can all wait, until you´re ready for it. I´m sure we all know, what it´s like to get moving, so you just do your own things first, and get hold on all your personal things there before thinking of us and our fun.

Hi Tara, WOW love this project, you are so talented. I love the colours you use. The case on this project fits perfectly and looks like metal, I would love a template for this when you are ready. Outstanding. I know a tutorial is alot of work. So if there is a youtube link on the market for some of the components, please share, rather than the laborious whole process of a re-write. (ugh) We need you to design great samples inspiring people….. smile (rather than the hard labour….wink)

After some trial an error I finally got a good bellow done, a small victory. For those of you that are trying to get a handle on this check our camera bellow (as in real camera’s) I found a lot of help there.
Tara how did you insert the tags? From the picture it’s impossible to tell and i don’t want to make a mistake after all the effort I spent on the bellow 🙂
Anything you can tell me would be appreciated and or another close up picture with one the tags pulled up.
