Vintage Dresses
These real dimensional dresses were all made using the beautiful papers of Pion Design and are featured on their blog today here. The dresses are each slightly different and were a lot of fun to make. My inspiration for making these dresses came from my recent visit to England’s Hampton Court. They have a room with beautiful life-size Victorian paper dresses. They were all made of white paper and were absolutely exquisite! Unfortunately, photography wasn’t allowed or I would post a picture of them. Making dresses out of paper was challenging, but a good tutorial for the ruffling technique can be found by Clare here and a tutorial for the unique bodice lacing can be found by Natasha here.
