Recipe Box
Pazzles is my first love when it comes to paper crafting. Many of my projects have used the Pazzles Inspiration in one way or another. I believe it is a wonderful creative instrument that gives you freedom to make your projects just the right size and just the way you want them. With that said, I am honored to be part of the 2013 Pazzles Spring/Summer Design Team and would be grateful if you could check out their website. They have wonderful products, cutting files, forums, tips, and blog posts and they are very warm and supportive.
This is another unfinished wood box I picked up from Hobby Lobby. I painted it with chocolate brown paint and then used some Kaiser Craft paper with rich color. All the deep red flowers were made with the Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms die. I’m running low on paper flowers so this die worked great for making paper roses.

Tara! breathtaking AGAIN! is there ribbon threaded in the cut from the die? I get so excited when I see you have a post! Your work is so drop dead stunning! Congratulations to you regarding the Pazzles design team! I also have a Pazzles, which is one of my favorite tools.

Hi Robin! Yes I used the Fiskars border punch “Threading Water” which has scallops with circular holes. I strengthened the holes by inserting eyelets and then laced 1/8″ satin ribbon through the eyelets. I’m glad you liked this project – I almost didn’t post it, so thank you very much for your kind comment!
