Altered Wood Box for Valentine’s Day

Hobby Lobby and Michael’s have great unfinished wood jewelry chests, frames, and other miscellaneous wood projects that are inexpensive. They are just waiting for your unique decorative touch! I like this box in that it has the glass top showing the top compartments along with a lower slide-out drawer. I painted it with gesso and then covered it in velvety Anna Griffin paper. The lovely lattice Prima stamp used on the drawer floor looks great with pearls or rhinestones at each corner.
