Sweet Blooms Mini Album Case

Hello!  Today my project features GLP-234 Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Sweet Blooms border glimmer plate from the Delicate Impressions Collection by Becca Feeken.
I’ve used this beautiful and intricate glimmer plate with gold foil and Jane Davenport Watercolor paints.  The mini album lifts up and out of the case, but I didn’t include pictures of it since it is already filled with pictures of my grandchildren!

To match the maroon Pion Design Christmas paper, I mixed Jane Davenport watercolors Ariel and Cocoa for the glimmer plate flowers and then mixed Water Spirit with Cocoa for the leaves.  I even painted two of the real flowers on the project with the maroon watercolor mix!  You can find the Jane Davenport watercolor paints here and here.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  Have a great week!

Stunning!!! This is another departure from your soft blues and pinks but I LOVE it!! Very classy!
The maroon color is so rich and elegant against the heavier brass tones. I’d love to see pictures of your grandchildren! What a wonderful keepsake. Thank you for sharing!!

Hi Karen! Thank you! Pion Design’s Christmas papers this year are maroons, blues and browns, so yes it is a departure from my comfort zone :), I certainly appreciate your encouraging kind words. I think reds are my least favorite color to craft with so I hold my breath every time I work on a project with reds in it and try to push through the challenge. Haha! Take care!
