I love the color of the blue in Pion Design’s collection The Songbird’s Secret. It is a turquoise blue and is so soft and beautiful. This project has slits in the sides of the box for the borders of the organizer cards to pass through as a decorative element. There are six organizer cards inside to separate cards, tags, notes, or coupons. There’s a hidden small magnet to keep the lid closed. This project can also be found on Pion Design’s March 22 blog post here. The die used for this project is Heartfelt Creations Cut & Emboss Die, Regal Borders & Pockets and it is one of my favorite dies! I love the elegance of that die!
Enjoy the day!
Hi! This project was made using a Pazzles Cutting file that can be found here. This little card holder was made using the blues of Pion Design’s collection A Songbird’s Secret. It was featured on Pion Design’s Jan. 25 blog here. For sturdiness, I used the cutting file to cut thin Silhouette chipboard pieces and then covered the pieces with the beautiful paper.
Pion Design has yet another new collection they will be releasing this week. It is called Theodore and Bella and I’ve enclosed a preview below. It promises to be another gorgeous collection!
I hope everyone has a great week!
Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season! Pion Design has released another beautiful paper collection called The Songbird’s Secret. The shades of pastel blues in this collection are simply beautiful. I designed this chipboard ferris wheel to look as close as possible to a real one. I did use a Sizzix die for the fence, a Spellbinders die for the door and front bottom corners, and a Pazzles cutting file found here for the windowed passenger carriers. The ferris wheel was constructed of chipboard and then covered with these awesome blue papers. I would be grateful if you could check out this post on the
Jan. 6 Pion Design blog here.
The Songbird’s Secret is an enchanting collection featuring dreamcatchers, bird nests and beautiful florals in a soft color palette, certain to brighten up your day. Here is a preview of the collection and you can see the entire collection at Pion Design here.
I also want to introduce another beautiful collection that has also been recently released by Pion Design.
With inspiration from an untamed flourishing rose garden, Pion Design presents the paper collection Where the Roses Grow. This collection will evoke the feeling of strolling in a picturesque garden surrounded by the scent and beauty of flowers in bloom. With delicate attention to detail and a dusty rose color palette you will find that this collection brings flair to every crafting project. Be sure to check out this entire collection at Pion Design here.
