Everlasting Memories Pocket Card with Tutorial

Hi!  This is a pocket card I made using Pion Design’s Everlasting Memories collection which has gorgeous pink and navy color combinations.  The post can also be found on the Crafteezee-Shop blog post here.  The 6″ x 6″ card features some nice white chipboard embellishments, which I have grown to love using recently!  🙂  I’ve included a simple tutorial for this paper crafting card project below.

These cards are easy to make.  Here’s how to make them:

1. Take one sheet of 12″ x 12″ cardstock and cut it in half.  Score each of the 6″ x 6″ pieces in half down the shorter 6″ side:

2.  Make a diagonal cut from the top of the score line to the bottom of each of the 6″ x 12″ sheets as shown:

3.  Fold along the scored lines.

4.  Merge together by adhering the two back full squares together.  Add decorative paper to the outside of the flaps and then adhere the flaps by adhering them both to the bottom of the card.  I use thin strips of Score Tape for a firm hold.

5.  Now create a pocket card measuring 5 3/4″ width x 5 3/4″” length to insert into the base card.  I usually always add a border die cut to the top of the pocket card to add decorative height so that the card can be easily pulled out.

To see some other past pocket cards I’ve made, check out these posts here, and here.  Best wishes for a great day and week ahead!
