Life is Peachy Pocket Cards

Hello!  I am usually off work for a week each year for Winter Break and have made an annual tradition of “binge” card-making during that week off to make enough cards to give to some of my family and friends throughout the year.  This year, I made 13 cards for ladies, and 12 cards for guys.  For those of you who make cards, you truly understand that this is a definite labor of love, as many hours are spent lovingly and painstakingly preparing each card.  Today I am posting 5 of those cards I made that week using  Pion Design’s Life is Peachy collection.  These are pocket cards, which are my favorite card style.  These cards all have a center heart cut-out and a beautiful Tattered Lace heart die was added to accentuate the cut-out.  Each pull-out card has a picture carefully placed so that it is centered within the  heart cut-out.
The elegant top border Heartfelt Creations die on the pull-out card is my all-time favorite die. I have used this gorgeous die many times in past projects.
Even though each of these cards are made exactly the same, I wanted to post them as they show several of the different breathtaking vintage images from this special paper collection.

As Winter turns to Spring, enjoy the beauty of each season that God gives us!  Best wishes for you to have a wonderful day!

WAUW WAUW WAUW you´ve just done it again. You´ve made such a wonderful load of stunning cards here, and I´m totally sold on all the gorgeous details, that you always make room for on your stunning creations. I´m dying to know, where you´ve found these adorable pearlstrings, that you´ve used at the top of the first 2 cards here? It is soo sooo beautiful, and I would really love to find something simular if possible? But there´s sooo many gorgeous details on each one of them with the diecuts, the flowers and strings and everything just looks so perfect with these gorgeous papers, that I´m also completely in love with, and even more, each time you´re showing some amazzing results with them here.
Have a wonderful week-end and loads of great fun sweet lady.

Greetings Maryann! How are you? I love hearing from you and seeing your sweet comments! The swag that you are wondering about is actually lace! I ordered it from Etsy several years ago and used the last of it for these cards. I believe Tracey Payne’s Crafteezee online shop sells it though so you may want to check with her. I’m hoping you and your family are doing well, and hoping things are starting to warm up in your area! 🙂 Love, Tara

I absolutely adore your cards Tara, as always. Your attention to detail is amazing! I have looked everywhere for that loopy swag border used on the top two cards…is it a Tattered Lace or Marianne die? Thanks.

Absolutely gorgeous, as always!! I’m also dying to know how to make/get the pearl swag loops on several of the cards. I remember seeing these on your Pringle box as well. I can’t tell if they are paper from a die or flat backed pearls or did you make these from a silicone mold??? Thank you for all your inspiration. I LOVE all the vintage photos from Dion Designs.
