Vintage Pay Phones

DSC_0461

Hello all!  I am happy to show you this new project design.  It was actually an easy project, but the painted wood trim turned it into a realistic piece. I would recommend adding this new element to your dimensional projects as the effect is great in my opinion!  Plus it’s fun and easy!   I had so much fun making this project, that I ended up making two of them using two different Pion Design paper lines.  The top one was made using the newest collection Scent of Lavender.  The lower one was made with the blue Easter Greetings papers.

You can find these projects also on the April 5 Pion Design blog here.

Now I want to encourage you to check out the heavenly new collection by Pion Design, Scent of Lavender.

Pion Design is taking you on a trip to Provence with the new collection Scent of Lavender. This collection captures the essence of the French countryside, with its cobbled streets and sleepy villages, and it will make the perfect starting point for endless crafting projects this season. Brimming with timeless patterns and images, this collection will allow you to turn precious moments into everlasting memories. So with the idyllic scenery of Provence within reach, throw away the map and let yourself be guided by

WAUW Tara, you´ve just done it again, and blown me completely away with the beauty in this project here. I keep saying, that now it can´t get any better, but it always do anyway. You are such a genius to these creations, and I´m completely sold every time.
I absolutely LOVE this phone, it soo reminds me of a late uncle, who was the first in our family to have what we called a partphone, where 4 neightbours were sharing one number and it looked exactly like this one here, so you just put me back to my very early childhood here and on a trip down Memory Lane, and thanks sooo much for that. Like the others here, I hope, that you´ll be making a tutorial some times later, as I would really love to try and make one of these too, that´s for sure, it´s sotally amazing and sooo beautiful.
I hope, you´ll have a wonderful summer ahead of you too and lots of crafty fun. Take good care.

Tara; Again I am flabbergasted. No matter how hard I try, how long I practice, how many projects I do, they never look as fantastic as the items you do. You have been and will continue to be an inspiration to me and to all the others.
But yes I do agree that tutorials would help “this dimwit” to watch, observe and practice. Again thank you so much…You bring joy to my eyes.
    Hugs and God Bless.

So amazing, My sister was very passionate crafted and used to create projects very similar to your…. when we we’re little she used to teach me how to do these things but I was never as good as her she ended up spending hours in her crafting room in the attic and as a little girl and later on I loved watching her work and sometimes even doing it myself with a lot of hers help I loved it that is until my sister passed away from cancer and I thought I will never scrapbook again, but your work gives me so much inspiration and I am thinking of doing it again,I would be so happy to recreate this project for what would now be her 29th birthday but seems I am not so experienced and really she was always buying supplies for me to use I am having trouble figuring out what you used so if you could please write a list of things you used in reply and if it is not much to ask recommend a good online international shop where I can get those things(since I live in Italy) you have no idea how much I would appreciate it it would definitely get me to ask my mom to give me the keys of my sisters crafting room…. Sorry if it is too emotional for a comment and if I am asking for too much it is just that making this for that day is very important for me and I can do it on my own , so thank you so much if you reply…… LOVE YOU
