Hello to all! Welcome to my blog and a big thank you for taking the time to share this post with me. I have had the idea in my mind for quite a while now to make a vintage cash register. I finally decided to dive in and just do it. It was made using poster board and chip board. It has storage/gift space in the “money drawer” and the top also lifts off for more space inside the register itself. I used papers from Pion Design’s new Linnaeus Botannical Journal collection which gives it a nostalgic, vintage feel.

You can also find this project on the Pion Design Blog here. I enjoyed making this so much, that I may make another one in the future to include a tutorial. Best wishes for a great week and 4th of July holiday!

Are there templates for the projects? where can I find them

    1. Tara Brown

Hi Rose, I don’t have a template or a tutorial available yet for this project, but will at some point in the future.

Thanks to all for your great comments – they provide me with inspiration!

Wow Tarantula, you NEVER cease to amaze with your creations. Each one is as stunning another last… Involve to know what you do with all of these creations… Do you have a room full of them or do you gift them to people… Lucky them if you do.

What else is there left for you to create… Have you ever done a pram/stroller? I know youve done some epic things, it’s hard to think of something you haven’t – or do you have another masterpiece in the making? Can’t wait if so.

Omg I so sorry that my auto-correct got the better of me and that I didn’t check my message before sending… Tara – I definitely don’t think you ate a scary spider lol..

I wish I could delete my last message or edit all the things that auto correct has messed up! That will also teach me to leave a message from my phone and not my laptop.

‘involve’ should read – I would like to know..

Also, above that it should read… Each one is as stunning as the last..

My bad – I am so sorry (but I do have a little naughty smirk on my face) 😉

Take care and thanks in advance for being understanding of my lack of proof reading – I hope never to call you a Tarantula again Tara. Has it ever happened before or have you ever done something that’s not funny, but is at same time? Guess what – it happens to me often – best refrain from commenting using phone on future lol…

Paula, that is hilarious! That happens to me all the time, so don’t think a thing about it! I appreciate all your comments and I want to thank you for taking the time to make them – I am honored! I do have some more ideas for other projects. One is a special project with a tutorial that I’ve already submitted to Pion Design and will post it here on my blog as soon as they publish it on their blog. I usually have my young grandchildren in mind when I make these things, or my mom’s church prayer group. Thanks again for your kindness – have a great 4th of July holiday weekend Paula! Tara

hej how can i bay yours filer so many nice

    1. Tara Brown

Hi Diana, Thank you for your sweet comment. I don’t sell my cutting files – I offer them all for free. At the top of my blog, just click on “cutting files” and that will take you to all my projects where I have included WPC cutting files. Then you can download them, and convert them to whatever file format you need. I don’t have a cutting file available yet for this particular project, but since there have been a few requests for a tutorial, I am going to come up with one soon. Take Care! Tara
