Tiroirs chevalet, French for easel drawers, describes this project using Pion Design’s Paris Flea Market papers paired with black lace, seam binding, and some black roses.  You can find this project also on the Pion Design Blog here.  These sturdy functional drawers are lined with chipboard for strength and I love the idea of the top easel card to further showcase these beautiful papers, which are now available from my online shop.
Have a great week!

      Hi Misty,
I made this particular project without a cutting machine. I just made 3 matchboxes measuring 4″ x 5 3/4″ x 1 1/2″ deep and stacked them together. I did line the matchboxes with chipboard to give better support. The bottom base has the same dimensions but it is just a regular box for the feet to rest on. Once you have prepared the matchboxes and base, just attach the easel components to the top of the box. I used the Spellbinders 5×7 Heirloom Legacy die along with their Floral Ovals die for the easel. Let me know if you have any more questions about the project! Thank you for your comment Misty – Have a great week! Tara
