I love dimensional projects and although I mainly enjoy creating them completely out of paper and cardstock, I also enjoy decorating wood and chipboard items. This birdhouse was covered with Pion Design papers and painted with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint.

Wow Tara, I’ve just found today your blog and I was delighted with everything I saw… your work is so delicate and elegant. Love the Pion papers, I used to see them in cards, but hadn’t seen such a beautiful display like your 3D projects.
I wonder where did you get your pearls strings? They are such a beautiful embellishment!

Hi Cecilia, Thank you for your nice comment! These pearl strands are flat-backed and self-adhesive and I buy them at local craft stores (Michael’s, Hobby Lobby) when they go on sale. Have a great day! Tara
