Love Note Mailbox

Here is another project made with the beautiful green and brown Pion Design papers of “A Day in May.”  The papers and images from this collection just ooze vintage elegance. This project can be found on the Pion Design blog here.   The Pazzles cutting file for this sweet mailbox can be found here.  I found a 12″x12″ sheet of chicken wire at Hobby Lobby and cut it to fit the mailbox sides and front and then painted it gold.  I really like the look of the chicken wire as a decorative element!

All the edges of the flowers were painted gold to blend with the metal elements of the project.

Pion Design is releasing another beautiful paper collection called Shoreline Treasures.  This nautical theme collection has breathtaking vintage blues with delicate matching maritime images:

Oh my goodness, this is soooooo gorgeous Tara. I absolutely LOVE it. But isn´t it possible to find a template for it to cut by hand too? I don´t have any cuttingmachine, but I have not less than 2 weddings comming up here very soon, and this is a perfect idea for that, so I would really love, if it was possible to buy a pdf template somewhere, so us who don´t have a cutter can also get a chance to make it??? I really love, how you´ve decorated yours here, it´s really beautiful work as usual.
Have a great day and lots of fun, I hope.

Hi Maryann, Thank you for your kind words! I agree that this is a perfect idea for a wedding, but I am not aware of a pdf template. I downloaded this from the Pazzles Craft Room, so you might check with them to see if they could make it available to you in pdf format. Thank again and hope you are able to find something!

beautiful project! You have a such a talent! Can you please let me know what kind of glue do you use for the pearls? Thank You.

Hi Laura, Thanks for your comment! These pearls are flat-back self-adhesive pearls, however I do apply a thin layer of Scotch Quick-Dry glue to make sure they stay in place. Without the added glue, they lose their stickiness after a few weeks and start falling off the projects. The pearls are “The Paper Studio” brand from Hobby Lobby. Take care!

Tara – thisnis absolutely stunning, asnis all your work. I love the attention to detail including the finishimg touches like the pearls and flowers etc. Ive often wondered how many pearls you must get through lol!!

I am the proud owner of a silhouette cameo -so would be great if the files were available on general sale as an SVG file. But as I like playing with paper and cardboard, often construct things from scratch by hand.

Love the new treasured shorelines’ collection and look forward to seeing something you do with this. It would be great if this was available electronically too as I prefer to purchase digitally.

TFS your exquisite work – as usual.

    Paula xxx
