Valises

Pion Design carries a line of masculine papers called “For Father” that are great for guy projects.  I’ve made these valises using papers from that paper line.  It’s a little challenging for me to make masculine projects as I have a hard time not using flowers and gemstones.  I actually made both of these valises from thick chipboard so that they would have sturdiness, and then covered them with the Pion Design paper.  They are good-sized and useable with drawers and side pockets and are wonderful for storing odds and ends.  My husband now has a place for receipts, loose change, and all his glasses!  You can find the tutorial for the black valise by Jim Hankins here.

Once again, I’d be very grateful if you could check out today’s (July 11) Pion Design blog here where these valises are featured!
