Violin Box

I found the face of this violin in the Pazzles Craft Room library and decided to make it into a 3-dimensional box.  That’s one of the wonderful things about the Pazzles software – you can make any project with your imagination!  I used the soft blue Pion Design paper from Fairytale of Spring and then made pink flowers from Vintage Garden.  In contemplating how I would make the bridge, I found that the “Antique Frame” Tattered Lace die worked great when folded in half. I still have my old violin that I learned to play on as a child and so I pulled it out when making this box so that I could make it somewhat realistic looking from paper.

Your ideas are unbelievable Tara. I wish I could have your imagination and talent. This would make a stunning gift to hang on a young musicians wall. You could use a 12×24 mat to enlarge and cut it. Beautiful project.

Thanks Michelle! Thanks for the great idea – that’s exactly what I’m going to do with this project! 🙂 Have a great week!

Love your creation, do you sell your patterns ?
    Big hugs, Anreda

Hi Anreda! This violin project was made using a cutting file from the Pazzles Craft Room so I am unable to post the template here since it is a Pazzles file. The cutting files and manual template I have done myself are all posted for free under “cutting files” and “manual templates” at the top of my blog. Thanks for your kind comment!

OH MY GOSH!!! I’m new to your blog and LOVE your work!!! Absolutely stunning. I see you used a lot of pearls in your projects, would you mind telling me where you purchased them? I’m assuming you buy in bulk lol…

    Thanks in advance 🙂

      Hi Steff,
Thanks so much for your nice comment! I stock up on the the pearls and other gemstones when they go on sale half price at local craft stores (Joann’s, Michael’s, Hobby Lobby). 🙂 Have a great weekend!

OMG is there a tutorial for this.

  7. TarasStudio

Hi Michelle R – I did not make a tutorial for this since the violin face came from the Pazzles Craft Room library. I just cut the violin face and made it into a 3-D project. If you have a Pazzles Craft Room membership you can access this particular cutting file. Take care!

After cutting out the violin face, I made it into a 3-dimensional project. I don’t have a tutorial for this particular project but may at some point in the future post one! Thanks again and have a good weekend! Tara
