Paper Cupcake

The June Pazzles Craft Room Challenge is to make a project using one of Sherwin Williams 4 trending color “forecasts.”  I chose the “Moxie Vintage” color theme and used Pion Design’s soft papers to make the flowers.  It is so much fun to participate in these monthly challenges.  The project was super easy.  I used a rosette cutting file from the Craft Room Library to make the blue cupcake holder.  I then took a 3″ styrofoam ball and covered it with white tulle and inserted it into the folded rosette.  I decorated it with paper flowers cut from the Pazzles hydrangea cutting file, and then added gemstones, and lace.  The sentiment band at the bottom helps give the cupcake holder it’s shape.

How wide does the strip of paper need to be to fit the 3inch styrofoam ball , how long also.
    Thanks

Hi Angie! The bottom band was made by cutting a rectangular strip measuring 7 3/4″ x 3/4″. Apply a sentiment stamp and then glue the ends together to form a circle. Insert the bottom of the rosette holder into the band and that will give final shape to your cupcake. Have a great day!
