2013 Wall Calendar with pleated skirt and top cutting file and template

This calendar measures 10.25″ x 12″. The Melissa Frances vintage 6″ scroll hanger works great for this project.  I used a Martha Stewart around-the-page punch that has slots that fit 1/8″ ribbon and so I laced pink satin ribbon through those slots. The resin curtain at the top is Melissa Frances.  The calendar itself is enclosed in a beautiful Melissa Frances frame, but I did not glue the top half of the frame so that the monthly calendar pages could be easily removed.  The remaining months are in the frame in order so that at the end of the month, you can just slide the top one up and out of the frame to reveal the next month.  I made the monthly calendar pages to fit the frame with the gorgeous Baroque Script font.  The Tim Holtz dress form was cut with chipboard and then painted.  I actually made a pleated skirt and top cutting file with the Pazzles software to fit the dress form.  It was simple and easy to make and the WPC cutting file can be found here.  You can download the manual template here.  NOTE the pleats are deliberately made uneven to give a more natural look to the dress. The top has little holes for tiny lacing.  I used regular thread with a sewing needle for the lacing.  Mist with water to soften the paper for easier pleating.  The black lines are cut lines and the blue lines are score lines for the pleats.
