A Christmas Wedding Card

I know this is the 3rd post of this same card style, but I absolutely love it.  It is easy to make and folks like getting it as it’s so unique.  Plus it doesn’t need an envelope as the belt holds it together and gives it a finished, elegant look.  I used Pion Design Christmas papers for this card since this wedding will be near Christmas. It looks like my husband brushed some of the decorative pearls off when he was taking the pictures.  Of course he’s a typical guy and doesn’t notice things like that!  The ivory and brown worked great for the wedding effect!  Once again, inspiration and tutorial came from here.

Ashley’s wedding invitations, thank you cards, and save-the-date cards

My oldest daughter Ashley tied the knot last month in a very beautiful and special ceremony.  She chose the colors ivory and red for her wedding so I made 130 each of the save-the-date cards, invitations, and thank you cards for the occasion using her colors.  Yes….that’s 390 total hand-made cards!  She picked out the Bazzill cardstock  and coordinating  My Mind’s Eye paper.   It was definitely a labor of love!  The pieces listed below were all cut/embossed one at a time using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur and the Sizzix Big Shot.   Whew!  This was a HUGE project!  As you can imagine, my hands and wrists were sore – not to mention all the stamping that was done!!
