Happy New Year! I want to start the year off by giving you the template for a wonderful triple pocket card! These cards were designed to have three pockets for pull-out tags or cards. One of my favorite things to give friends for the holidays or for birthdays, are handmade projects with recipe cards or photos for a personal touch. So having three pocket cards provides plenty of space with six sides. I’ve included a template below on how to construct this pocket card using one sheet of card stock. The second card was made using this template, but the other three cards were made a little larger, requiring two sheets of card stock. You will need to make additional tabs if you make the card larger.

Triple Pocket Card

Make the tabs 1/2″. Fold the scored lines but then lay it flat. Take the left piece and fold it up and over the middle piece and adhere the tabs. Then take the right piece and fold it under the middle piece and adhere the tabs. Now take the bottom piece and fold it up and over the middle piece and adhere. Once the card is constructed, you can make three cards or tags to fit inside the pockets.

These cards are also being featured on the 1/7/2016 Pion Design Blog here. I used several of their paper collections: Paris Flea Market, Linnaeus Botanical Journal, To My Valentine, From Grandma’s Attic-Tinted, Pion Design Palette, and Days of Winter.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and blessed New Year!

Hi! Double Tag cards are so fun and one of my favorite card styles. These pull-out tags can be used for bookmarks or recipe cards, and the decorating possibilities are endless. I’ve posted a birthday card along with two Christmas cards using this card style. These cards are also posted on Pion Deisgn’s Blog here.

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Take a 12″ x 12″ piece of sturdy card stock and cut it to 12″ x 11″. Score at 5″ and 10″ down the 11″ side. Score at 5 7/8″ and 6 1/8″ down the 12″ side.

2. Now cut out the small center piece as shown.

Hello to all! I have another Carousel to share with you today and this one is being featured on today’s Pion Design Blog here. Instead of swings, this one has sleighs that are anchored with wood poles wrapped in gold ribbon. The wood poles are just wood skewers! You can find the templates and assembly instructions on my previous August 26 post here. It has an octagonal base with 4 pull-out drawers making it functional. This carousel features Pion Design’s new Christmas paper collection “Christmas in Norway.” I love these traditional colors and their vintage images are just beautiful! For those of you interested in the cutting file, you can download the WPC cutting file here.  SVG cutting file here

Have a great weekend!
