Paper Crafting Projects

Altered Pringles box

Hello!  I’ve altered Pringles cans before, but this time I made one laying on it’s side.  I’ve used Pion Design’s newest collections, Days Gone By and Our Furry Friends which match nicely together.  I picked up the hardware from Hobby Lobby.  It’s an easy project but makes for a uniquely special  box.  You can also find this project posted on the Pion Design blog here.

I am more of a cat person so I tend to use the kitten images from the collection more than the dog ones, but all are pretty cute!  Here is a picture of our family cat Sheba:

Best wishes for a great day!

Mailbox with Tag Album

Hello!  This is my first project using Pion Design’s newest paper collections “Days Gone By” and “Our Furry Friends.”  You can also find this project posted on the Feb. 20 Pion Design blog here.

This mailbox was handmade from pieces of thick and thin chipboard and then covered with the lovely blue papers from the collection.  The mailbox opens up so that a tag album can be placed inside.  It made a lovely project!

Here are some pages of the tag album:

Wishing everyone a great week!

Christmas Accordion Card and Cottage

Hello!  This matching Christmas card and below cottage were made using papers from Pion Design’s vintage Christmas Wishes collection.

Accordion cards are great for displaying photos.  This card die by Elizabeth Craft Designs is easy to use and makes card making simple!  I am going to try to get my hands on some more of these accordion dies as there are other shapes that would be great to have.

So this matching Christmas cottage is a wood birdhouse I picked up at Michael’s.  I covered it with the gorgeous vintage papers and then added the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Santa and Trophy Antlers.  I was wondering what I could use these for, and as it turned out, they worked great for this project.
Now I have some previews to share with you of Pion Design’s upcoming two new collections – Our Furry Friends and Days Gone By.  Both of these collections will be released in January. They are simply stunning!
I wish you a wonderful, meaningful holiday season filled with the people you love most, great food, and wonderful memories!
